CanSTOC 2010 (BearSTOC)

BearSTOC/CanSTOC Gathering of Honda ST motorcycles and riders
all makes and models welcome
this is the most loosely disorganised STOC event and is sandwiched between WeSTOC and WiSTOC

CanSTOC / BearSTOC  will be
Sep 3, 4, 5 - 2010 this event to follow WeSTOC
and  will be the usual traveling motorcycle camping trip and will be at:

Sep 3rd -   to Toadrock Campground  north of Nelson / Balfour, BC

Sep 4th -  Fairmont Hot Springs

Sep 5th -  Waterton, AB in the Waterton Provincial Park, Canada -


Beware... the weather can be dicey in Canada in early Sept.
It can also be fantastic.  We will keep an eye on the sky, but be ready to cancel!

CanSTOC / BearSTOC is the most loosely disorganized thing you've ever been a part of.
Some  people like that.  Keith Hooper especially just enjoyed knowing were we were to end up.  We don't ride in groups anyway.

i.e. - BearSTOC -> Deadwood - Burgess - Red Lodge included frozen waffles for breakfast, Rib Eyes and Fat Tire at Burgess Jct. and 9 of us crammed in to a booth at the Red Lodge Pizza Place... it was cozy

There really isn't a BearSTOC this year as we share with CanSTOC every other year if Bruce P is inclined
He has weddings and all kinds of things this spring

Raouf is correct.... an number of us are headed to Toadrock after WeSTOC... from there who knows
I'm thinking the one night at Toadrock is worth the ride... after that Bruce mentioned Fairmont Hot Springs and Waterton.... I don't even know if I can do that but I would follow the crowd and enjoy whatever.

Truly, I'm thinking we have a pow wow around the campfire at Toadrock and wing it. Brian B and I will be available 'til the wee hours again, I'm sure.

I am thinking of just heading home after via Toadrock a west to east passage through Glacier if that includes a circuitous route then so be it.  I am not big on planning or worrying

There WILL be a BearSTOC 2011, I will be taking suggestions as usual and be submitting a proposal for WeSTOC 2012 in Red Lodge at which point I'll have to do some actual planning! I will retire that year so...

Make trouble in any way and, as is our way, all participants will ride out of their way to take a dump on your lawn!
